Round 3 of the Rogershill Summer Series, Saturday 22nd June, Sprint to count for championship points! 10 am start, 8-10 laps of 6 minute loop with short breaks between. sighting lap and first lap will be in class order then fastest to slowest. Entry is available via the ACU website. Limited to 80 entrants so book quickly to avoid disappointment.
In the afternoon there will be a fun extreme race, where 4 competitors take part in a 5 lap race round the extreme section! Participation is voluntary. Enter on the day, donation to the air ambulance.
Party in the barn in the evening, beer, bands and food, all proceeds to the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. Camping available for the whole weekend. This is the second year of running this very popular event; last year we raised over £1000 for the air ambulance.
Ben Saville, who sadly passed in November 2017, was an enormous part of the Rogershill community. He was involved heavily in track design, marshalling and was just great friend to the crew. Ben loved his extreme sports, fishing and kayaking, attacking everything with his whole heart. Therefore up for grabs by any competitor will be the Ben Saville Memorial Trophy. Last years winner, Nick Gifford, received the award for showing great determination and grit despite a huge crash straight off the start.
